Wichita Fire Department helps Celebrate
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BOOT BLOCK!
Saturday, November 3rd, 10th & 17th
What: The Wichita Fire Department will be collecting donations in their boots for The Salvation Army.
Where: Parking lots throughout Wichita at Dillons (Nov. 3 only), Walmart’s and Town East Square
When: Saturdays, November 3rd, 10th and 17th - 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Details: For 31 years, the Wichita Fire Department has collected donations in area intersections to benefit The Salvation Army. Due to safety concerns, construction and potentially inclement weather, Firefighters will again park their firetrucks in local participating businesses parking lots to collect money. We appreciate the extra effort to make your way to a crew.
We encourage the community to stop by the firetruck, drive by and drop your donation into one of the firefighter boots! It’s a great opportunity see the equipment up close and help fund the many programs at The Salvation Army, such as Homeless Services, Emergency Social Services, Disaster Services, Youth Services, and Foster Care to name a few.
