Your favorite holiday event is back again this year and more spectacular than ever!
A fun, free, family event on the Arkansas River! Lights on the River is happening before, during and after the Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting. Trolleys will be available to take you from The Boathouse to Old Town Square for the Tree Lighting Ceremony and back to the Wichita Boathouse for the Lights on the River Launch!
Purchase floating lights for the floating light launch, enjoy wagon rides, visit with Santa, listen to holiday music, partake in yummy food from local food trucks, and much more!
4:00 PM: Festivities begin at Wichita Boathouse

5:00 PM: Special Appearance by Santa Claus
- Private Reception begins
5:30 PM: Trolleys arrive at Wichita Boathouse to take attendees to Old Town Square for the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
6:00 PM: Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony begins in Old Town Square
- Floating Lights will be available for sale onsite for the Lights on the River Launch
6:30 PM: Trolleys arrive in Old Town Square to take attendees to Wichita Boathouse where festivities will continue
