Actor Tony Germano Dead At 55

Voice actor Tony Germano, best known for roles on Nickelodeon and Netflix, has died at the age of 55 after a fall at his residence in São Paulo, Brazil, a representative confirmed in a statement to PEOPLE.

"It is with deep sorrow that we confirm the passing of actor and voice artist Tony Germano on the morning of Wednesday, November 26. Tony suffered a fall at his residence and, unfortunately, did not survive his injuries," the representative said. "We kindly ask for respect and understanding during this painful time for his family, friends, and colleagues. Tony leaves behind a legacy of dedication, generosity and immense talent that touched everyone who had the privilege of working with him. His absence will be deeply felt."

Germano's death took place amid renovations at his home, according to local media outlets Folha de Sao Paulo and O Estado de Sao Paulo. The voice actor was reportedly staying with his parents and lost his balance at the time of the fatal accident.

Germano was best known for his Portugues voice performances in Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn on Nickelodeon's and Go, Dog Go! on Netflix, as well as the 2017 live-action Beauty and the Beast soundtrack, as well as making voice appearances in Elena of Avalor and The Muppets.
