We Need To Talk About "RompHims" And "Convertible Jorts"

Last week, there were the "brompers" or "romphims". Rompers.... for dudes. I scoffed at first, but then I realized the potential to end plumbers crack, so I was willing to let it slide.

But this is too much "fashion" for me.

The new denim that has us scratching our heads actually converts from jeans to jorts, and it looks as confusing as it sounds. The jeans are from Y/Project, the French hipster label and we just don’t get it.

Here’s how the jean/jorts work: They look like other jeans from the leg to the top of the thigh, where you’ll see the crotch area is attached to the lower part with some buttons. Undo those and you’ve got a pair of booty shorts. Yeah, we told you it didn’t make sense.

For those of us who aren’t into high fashion, these are just another fashion trend that seems too much for us. Why not just wear shorts when you want shorts and another entirely separate pair of pants when you want jeans? For the $425 this combo pair sells for, you could buy both. And we’re pretty sure they’d have to look better.
