How To Tell If Your Eclipse Glasses Are Legit
Eclipse glasses are basically sold out everywhere (if you know where to find a pair, let us know!) Sadly, some people have taken advantage of the situation and sold fake ones. Before the eclipse, you definitely want to test yours to make sure they are the real deal - or else you could end up permanently damaging your eyesight!
REAL eclipse glasses should be completely dark when you put them on. The only time you should see any light whatsoever is when you look at the sun. Looking at the sun should be comfortable, like looking at the moon. If the sun looks hazy or out-of-focus, or the glasses are damaged in anyway, throw them away. It's not worth the risk!
How To Make An Eclipse Box
If you haven’t gotten eclipse glasses, or yours are fake, here’s another way for you to safely view the big event.
