Taylor Swift Sued Over "Shake It Off" Lyrics

As the lyrics go, "Haters gonna hate (hate, hate, hate, hate)..."

Taylor Swift is being sued over lyrics in her hit "Shake It Off" by Sean Hall & Nathan Butler, the writers behind the 2001 song "Playas Gon' Play."

Because Taylor used the lyrics "players gonna play" and "haters gonna hate," Butler & Hall say that 20% of Swift's song belongs to them. And they want a boat-load of cash for it.

Swift's reps say the claim is ridiculous and, "...nothing more than a money grab. The law is simple and clear. They do not have a case."
