Bruno Mars Sued over "Uptown Funk." Again.

Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson are facing yet another lawsuit over their megahit “Uptown Funk.”

The 70s female rap group The Sequence is suing both artists, claiming "Uptown Funk" sounds a lot like their 1979 hit “Funk You Up.” They claim in the lawsuit that the two tunes have "significant and substantially similar compositional elements." They are seeking unspecified damages.

This isn’t the first time Mars and Ronson have been sued over the song. Back in September they were sued by Lastrada Entertainment, who claimed “Uptown Funk” was a ripoff of Roger Troutman and Zapp's “More Bounce to the Ounce." Check out both songs to the right and decide for yourself.
