One of America's favorite snacks is the getting a starring role on the big screen!
The story of Robert Montañez, the man who invented Flamin' Hot Cheetos, is being made into a movie. Montañez is a high-school dropout who immigrated to the US from Mexico as a child, and started out his career as a janitor at the Frito-Lay plant. When a factory mess-up left an entire batch of Cheetos without their signature dust, he took them home and spiced them up with the seasonings used in Mexican street corn.
The combo was pure magic. Pretty soon, the executives learned about his creation... and the rest is history! Montañez is now Executive Vice-Rresident of Multicultural Sales at PepsiCo.
