Watch *NSYNC Get Their Star On The Walk Of Fame

The five members of *NSYNC - Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick – reunited in Hollywood yesterday to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Fans camped out for hours to get a peak at the band, with Carson Dalyand Ellen DeGeneres on hand to introduce the group. Ellen cracked a few jokes about the band’s name, and then got serious by saying they were being honored because their “music is the soundtrack to an entire generation.” Carson recalled his first time interviewing *NSYNC for TRL, insisting that throughout his time on the show no fans were quite as loyal as those for *NSYNC.

  • The members of the band mostly took to the podium to thank their fans and families, but Lance Bass took a moment to discuss not being strong enough to come out while in the group, worried that it would mean the end to their success. He went on to say how he wished he could have let fans know back then it was okay to be gay, adding that he’s proud he can do it now.

  • Meanwhile, Justin called the moment surreal and thanked their fans for being “best fans in the world” adding that so many of them coming out “means the world to all of us.” He also got emotional about his bandmates noting that he couldn’t put into words how much they mean to him, letting them know “I just love all of you so much.” Check out the ceremony to the right.

  •  In addition to the star, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President Leron Gubler declared yesterday *NSYNC Day in Hollywood.
