It's pretty obvious at this point... Kelly Clarkson has lost a lot of weight! And now, she's talking about how it happened.
Kelly told Extra that she didn't do any exercise to lose 40 lbs. She read a book.
“I literally read this book, and I did it for this autoimmune disease that I had and I had a thyroid issue, and now all my levels are back up. I’m not on medicine anymore because of this book, it’s called ‘The Plant Paradox (by Steven R. Gundry, MD).’ It’s basically about how we cook our food, non-GMO, no pesticides, eating really organic... Literally, I haven’t worked out at all!” Source: Extra TV
So I thought, "Well, if it works for Kelly... maybe I should check it out!"
This. Diet. Looks. Hard.
Although the reviews of people who have followed it are full of praise about how it has helped them shift pounds and get rid of pain... it also looks extremely restrictive and difficult to follow. For example, you can have tomatoes... but only if you peel and and de-seed them first. I ain't got time for that.
Guess I'm heading back to the gym!
