Operation Holiday in Desperate Need of Donations

Inter-faith Ministries is a local organization that does so much for individuals and families in our community. They recently even became the first shelter in the state to let people homeless residents bring their dogs!

One of their biggest annual projects is Operation Holiday, where they provide warm clothing, food, and presents for children in need during the holiday season. This year, they have had over 14,000 people apply for assistance... but so far, they have only had about received 10,000 food items donated. That's less than 1 item per person. They need 10 times that amount in order to meet the need.  They are also lacking coats for children and volunteers to help during distribution.

If you are able to help meet any of these needs, please drop off your donations in the Operation Holiday box at any Dillons grocery store from now through December 13th. You can also make a monetary donation, or volunteer to help, at OperationHoliday.org
