Things To Do In Doo-Dah This Weekend

It's officially spring and there's a lot of things you can do this weekend in Wichita.  Thanks to Visit Wichita for keeping us informed and entertained in the Air Capital.  Here's a few highlights you can check out this weekend.  

WEEK OF HEROES

MARCH 20-24, 2017

Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission: Regular admission ($1 off for active military, veterans and first responders)

Location: Museum of World Treasures, 835 E. First St., Wichita KS 67202

This week-long celebration of those in uniform, both military (active duty and retired) and first responders in our community concludes on Friday, March 24th.  Members of the armed services and local law enforcement, fire protection, will be on hand to visit with attendees, provide demonstrations, give talks and more. WICHITA THUNDER VERSUS MISSOURI MAVERICKS

BBQ, BREAD AND BREWS

MARCH 25, 2017

Time: 1 to 4 p.m. Admission: $35 (adults ages 21 and up)

Location: Mid-America All-Indian Center, 650 N. Seneca, Wichita KS 67203

This new food and drink sampling event will show off some of the best BBQ, bread, beer and coffee selections from a select number of local businesses. Visit each partner's booth to sample selections, play an assortment of yard games and tour the museum.
