Things To Do In Doo-Dah This Weekend

It's the first weekend of April.  No Foolin'!  Do you have plans? Well, the great staff at Visit Wichita have some great ideas for fun this to do this weekend in Wichita.  Stay safe!  Here's a list of events.

WICHITA THUNDER VERSUS MISSOURI MAVERICKS

The Wichita Thunder has just a few home games left this season.  Watch them take on Missouri.  The game starts at 7:05 p.m.  There will be an Alumni Game at 5 p.m.  Your Thunder game ticket will get you admission to that game, as well.  Wichita will celebrate their 25th Anniversary as they bring back great names of Wichita past. 

 

CHISHOLM TRAIL 150TH BUS TOUR

APRIL 1, 2017

Time: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission: $65 per person

Sit back, relax and enjoy this motor-coach ride into the past to the days of the Chisholm Trail, from Wichita to Caldwell and back. The tour features graves of people who walked the trail, markers and memorials, museums and longhorns. Lunch by the Sugar Sisters of Caldwell is included. Tickets are available at Hatman Jack's Wichita Hat Works at 607 W. Douglas.

 

HISTORIC WICHITA RIVER CITY TROLLEY TOURS

APRIL 1, 2017

Time: 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Admission: $15 per person, children 5 and under accompanied by an adult ride free

Take a tour downtown in one of Wichita's unique 1925-style trolleys. The River City Trolley company provides tours during the months of April through July on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The tour winds along the Arkansas River and throughout the Delano District into Downtown Wichita. Learn more about the history of the area and discover something you never knew about Wichita! Reservations required.

ONE WOMAN SEX AND THE CITY: A PARODY OF LOVE, FRIENDSHIP AND SHOES
