We've received a lot of rain in the Wichita metro this weekend. It caused a few cancelations of events, but it's nothing compared to what's been hitting western Kansas.
I spent a few years of my life in Garden City. I graduation from high school there. I still have a lot of friends out that way. Thank goodness for social media. They've been keeping me posted on how that are doing after 12+ inches of snow hit. There's been a lot of damage from this blizzard. Power was out for many hours and numerous roads in western Kansas remain closed at this time. Eastern Kansas has problems of their own to deal with today. There a flood warnings for residents in the southeastern corner of Kansas.
