According to McAfee, Avril Lavigne is the most dangerous celebrity to search for online
The former skater girl topped the annual study by the cyber-security company, which looks at the most dangerous search results in terms of landing you on some pretty dubious websites.
There has been a conspiracy theory that Lavigne died ten years ago and has been replaced by an imposter. She is due to release new music after four years which has caused a spike in searches, as well.
Cybercriminals prey on consumers' celebrity obsessions. That's probably why the top 10 are well-known names from the entertainment industry. The top 10 in this list are all musicians. Avril Lavigne is the first female musician to top the list, just in case you wondered.
