It's so hard to believe that it's almost Thanksgiving. There's a lot of things you can do this weekend around Wichita to get in the holiday mood. Here's a list of things, compliments of my friends at Visit Wichita.
BRADLEY FAIR CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING & HORSE-DRAWN CARRIAGE RIDES

Location: Bradley Fair at Wilson Estates, Rock Road & 21st Street, Wichita, KS 67206
You know the holidays are here with the annual lighting of the Bradley Fair Christmas tree. The ceremony starts at 5:30 p.m. as Santa and his reindeer help light the 35-foot tree. After, crowds can enjoy a free horse-drawn carriage ride through the parkway. Those carriage rides continue every weekend through the end of December.
HOLIDAYS IN DELANO

It’s time to get your Christmas lists together and prepare for some holiday shopping in the Historic Delano District. Bring a canned good to receive additional discounts to participating businesses. Look for Santa, his reindeer, sleds and activities for the kids while you mark those special items off your lists. New this year – enjoy a pop-up market offering handmade goods and vendors.

HAYDN’S CREATION

The Wichita Symphony Orchestra at Century II Concert Hall will bring this 18th century German masterpiece written by Joseph Haydn to life. The performance celebrates the creation of the world as described in the Bible in the book of Genesis.

America's Technicolor cowboys Big & Rich will bring their legendary hits to the Kansas Star Arena on Saturday, Nov. 18. As part of its 30th birthday bash, the Kansas Lottery is partnering with Kansas Star Casino to present the concert.
