I love going downtown. It's a great place to walk, explore and to take pictures. It's also nice to see a clean downtown Wichita. You wanna help make it stay that way?
Help keep Downtown a clean and friendly place to be during the Downtown Clean Up on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mark your calendars and plan to join Downtown Wichita, the City of Wichita Public Works & Utilities Department and Parks & Recreation Department in making Downtown beautiful. Participants will receive lunch courtesy of Westar Energy.
Volunteers can find more details and register at downtownwichita.org. Choice of project will be on a first come, first serve basis. All other volunteers will be responsible for trash pick-up. Register now to get your choice of project!
Projects Include:
Trash pick-up, street painting, graffiti removal, sticker removal, sidewalk cleaning, window washing, maintenance at the Pop-Up Park and more.
