Thanksgiving week is upon is.  That means many of us will have family and friends visiting our fine city.  My friends at Visit Wichita have a list of things to get us out of the house.  Here's some things you can do.  Be safe and enjoy your time with family and friends.  Happy Thanksgiving!


CHRISTMAS AT THE PRAIRIE ROSE

NOV. 23-DEC. 22, 2018

Starting the day after Thanksgiving, Prairie Rose Chuckwagon transforms into a Christmas wonderland, providing an old-fashioned Christmas gathering place. Gates open at 5 p.m., so get there early for Christmas movies inside the two theaters, warm up in the Opera House by the large stone fireplace, Christmas shopping in the Prairie Rose Mercantile and if weather allows, horse-drawn carriage rides. Then, enjoy a delicious and satisfying meal as the Prairie Rose Rangers bring to the stage both Cowboy Christmas songs, as well as timeless Christmas favorites. Reservations are required.
