Worlds of Fun has renamed their famous roller coaster, The Patriot to The Patrick, thanks to MVP & Offensive Player of the Year, Patrick Mahomes!
"To stand in solidarity with the Kansas City Chiefs during this weekend’s AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots, Worlds of Fun has temporarily renamed the roller coaster known as The Patriot to The Patrick.
The name change is fitting considering Patrick Mahomes’ thrilling play style, the Chiefs high-flying offense and the defense’s ability to throw the opposition for a loop. Also fitting, the Chiefs will be playing for the Lamar Hunt Trophy, which is named after the man who founded the football team and Worlds of Fun. #LetsRoll @chiefs!
