100th Anniversary USBC Women’s Championship
APRIL 20-JUNE 29, 2019
Location: Northrock Lanes, 3232 N. Rock Road, Wichita KS 67226
Each year, more than 16,000 bowlers compete at the USBC Women's Championships, the world's largest participatory sporting event for women. The championship will run from April 20 to June 29 at Northrock Lanes and will bring more than 16,000 bowlers to the city.The tournament is the highlight of the bowling season for USBC female members. The public can watch the competitions throughout the championship. Team squads are held daily at 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., and doubles/singles squads will be at 7 a.m., 10 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.

BUNNY BREAKFAST & EGG HUNT

Time: 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission: No admission fee; breakfast is $12 for adults and $6 for kids

Don't miss the Easter fun at Stearman Field Bar & Grill, which will be open for breakfast. Then, the Easter bunny arrives at 10 a.m. for photos. The egg hunt starts at Noon, and is broken up into categories based on age: 0-3, 4-6, 7-11, 12-15 & special needs. The Easter Bunny will be around until 2 p.m.

Come to the Zoo for a hippity, hoppity great time! Meet the Easter Bunny, play games, and much more.This isn’t your average Easter egg hunt … the Easter Bunny has hidden giant Easter eggs around the Zoo and you have to help us find them! As you make your way around the Zoo, count how many eggs you see and receive a prize on your way out.1 p.m. is the special needs egg hunt and 2 p.m. there will be a visually impaired egg hunt.

FEMME FEST ICT: INTERNATIONAL FEMINIST FILM FESTIVAL

Femme Fest ICT is a Wichita-based, independent film festival promoting intersectional feminism in our community and world. The festival will include presentations, short films, features, refreshments, musical performances, panel discussions and more. This new film festival focuses on equality, representation and women storytellers. Tickets are complimentary, but a $5 suggested donation at the door supports film screen fees and future installments.
