FLOATIN’ ON THE RIVER – GLOW TOUR

Enjoy a moonlight trip along the Arkansas River with the stars shining overhead! You and the kayaks will be glowing with lights and glow sticks as you make your way to the Keeper of the Plains to watch the Ring of Fire lighting from the water. Guests must be at least 16 to participate. Pre-registration is required, and event is weather permitting.

Wichita Art Museum teams up with Tallgrass Film Association for the 7th annual outdoor movie night at WAM. Don’t miss “Moonrise Kingdom,” the seventh film directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Wes Anderson. Set on an island off the coast of New England, the film tells the story of two 12-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact and run away together as a violent storm is brewing offshore. Featuring actors Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Jason Schwartzman, you won’t want to miss this free film, food trucks, cash bar and live music by The Haymakers.
