Based on a true crime drama of Chicago’s Jazz Age, the Vaudeville-style re-telling of the saga murderesses Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart is now the longest-running American Broadway musical in history. With signature Fosse moves and catchy songs like “All That Jazz,” and “Razzle Dazzle,” the dark comedy of Chicago makes for a raucously entertaining evening.

Waterski is back in Wichita with the 2019 Wichita’s Cup Invitational at Mystic Lakes Ski Club! The ‘royalty of the waterski world’ will make their way to Wichita for Wichita’s Cup Invitational – an event attracting professional water skiers, including three world champions – that will take place at Mystic Lakes Ski Club, just northwest of Wichita, on Friday, July 26. The skiers will be competing in slalom, trick and jump competitions. In addition to the pro event on July 26, the sport’s Midwest Regional Water Ski Championships will be held at Mystic Lakes from July 26 to July 28. Both events will be open to the public.

The "National Day of the Cowboy," celebrates the everyday working cowboy. There will be demonstrations of the many skills that were required to do this tough, demanding and unpredictable work. There will also be music and poetry that reflect the life they lived. In addition, the museum will be celebrating Wichita's birthday.
