This Outer Critics Circle Award winner makes its regional premiere at Roxy’s Downtown just as Lin Manual Miranda (creator of Hamilton) is set to direct the film version. Set in 1990, the intense fear and frustration of not having a career, turning 30, and trying to decide how to choose between the passion he loves or listening to the people he loves is truly reflective of the tragically shortened life of Jonathan Larson (creator of RENT). A nakedly autobiographical musical brings a haunting reminder of a beautiful talent lost far too soon.
