Things To Do This Weekend In Doo-Dah

DINOSAURS AFTER DARK

The largest dinosaur theme park in the country gets a little spooky after dark as visitors embark on a mysterious

expedition into the shadowy, prehistoric world. Fearless Dinosaur Wranglers will lead groups on a hunt for a

terrifying T. rex that has escaped! It’s a spooky, fun-filled night of songs, shows, games and s’mores! Limited to 120

people per night, so get your tickets early.

Celebrate fall the Wichita way with the annual ICT Bloktoberfest celebration. Two full days bring local favorites in food and brews. Additional ticket options include $40 for Bloktoberfest Beer Festival and $25 to become part of the Stein Club for a commemorative stein. Don’t miss the free events including the wiener dog race and dog costume contest, vendors, games and live entertainment for all ages.

Channel your inner Lucille Ball and join in on a Wichita tradition at the 2019 Grape Stomp at Grace Hill Winery. Just like it sounds, take off your shoes and jump into the bin and stomp until your heart is content. The grapes are secondary crop grapes that won’t ever become ripe enough for wine. This free, family-friendly event comes with delicious snacks from the Salted Creamery, Grace Hill wines and live music. No reservations required.

Art and nature come together at Chisholm Creek Park when the Great Plains Nature Center holds its 15th annual Art on the Trail event. Watch artists paint beautiful backdrops live as you walk the half-mile loop of the park nature trail. Enjoy free refreshments and a nature craft project for kids.
