Wichita Wings Soccer Is Back

Were you around to remember the Wichita Wings? Well, they will return to professional soccer under a new ownership group. The team is set to begin operations right away, according to a news release, and will play all home games at Hartman Arena in Park City. "The Wings front office is still looking to round out a few staff members and expects to hold a news briefing in the coming days to disclose details for the 2020 season," the release said. The team has started to sign players and will hold open tryouts at Hartman Arena on November 23 and 24. Tryout registration will be announced during the upcoming news conference. Wichita Wings training camp opens on November 1st, ahead of their preseason games against the Dallas Sidekicks and the Kansas City Comets.
