Halloween is less than two weeks away. My friends at Visit Wichita have compiled a list of Halloween related events to check out this weekend. There's also information on other things happening this weekend in this fine city of ours.
17TH ANNUAL TALLGRASS FILM FESTIVAL 2019

Explore the 17th annual Tallgrass Film Festival, named one of the “Top 50 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee” and one of the best film festivals in the country. Tallgrass features short and feature films from around the world, Filmmaker labs, roundtable discussions, VIP receptions, gala parties and so much more!
7th ANNUAL PUMPKIN DROP & HALLOWEEN BASH

Watch as pumpkins are dropped from airplanes at targets below. This all-ages event also includes a costume contest and a beer garden.

From spooky after-dark explorations at Field Station: Dinosaurs and Zombie Task Force paintball experiences at Tanganyika Wildlife Park to the annual favorites. Don’t miss Spooky Science at Exploration Place, the 7th Annual Pumpkin Drop & Halloween Bash at Stearman Field Bar & Grill or Howl-oween at Great Plains Nature Center! Wichita is also home to several pumpkin patches, corn mazes and other fall festival experiences.
